Melinda created “Remember” after falling down a rabbit hole of contemplation in re-reading her writing spanning many years. Melinda is sharing her motherhood lessons in “Remember” from written reminders to herself and her experience of the messy and the glory of motherhood.
“Remember” is a gentle space for mothers to regroup – it gives permission to breathe deep into your belly and remember who you are, and how important your beautiful messy motherhood is. It is graceful, and kind in letting you know that you are the perfect mother for your children, but that mothering is one facet of you. “Remember” reminds you to value your whole self and your whole story.
We worked with Melinda to design the book cover, layout all her poetry in a unique and creative way, and to design a letterpress card to send alongside her pre-orders.
